"And fabled lore..."

Bixie AKA Pi-Hsieh AKA Winged Liger

Bixie AKA Pi-Hsieh: Probably a Chinese interpretation of the Middle Eastern "Winged Lion" of the Egyptians, the Zoroastrians, the Persians, the Mesopotamians, the Hebrews, the Christians and many other civilizations, cultures and sects, later finding its way into the iconography of Medieval Art. The Sphinx, The Griffin, the Flying Lion, a Chimera of Secret and Sacred Meaning. Knowledge, Piety, Will, Intent, Power, the Godhead Within.
