Page Eight

PAGE EIGHT

CUT TO: EXT. ESTABLISHING SHOT - VICTOR'S TREEHOUSE

Panel 1: From a balcony in VICTOR'S TREEHOUSE, we see SIBLEY ODENWALD telling two visitors that they can't see Victor Frankenstein. She's wearing a long sleeved, high-necked, white lace "Victorian" blouse with a black cameo at the throat (of a woman holding a skull), black tight-fitting belted riding pants and black riding boots, and carryng a black walking stick that looks like a streamlined version of a twirler's baton, which has a small watch face inset in the end of the knob. One of the two visitors is INSPECTOR YI (who we last saw "Yesterday, on the Moon", on Page Four) now wearing a Western-style 1870s suit. He looks like a cop, like he's obviously with the Pinkerton Agency or Scotland Yard: bowler hat, tweed jacket, overcoat, waistcoat, round collar, striped shirt, fat tie (cravat?), contrasting pants (knickers? gaiters? spats?), some kind of groovy footwear (you decide). The other visitor is AGENT ADAM LEE AKA WESTERN SPY 1870. He's wearing his trademark cowboy hat, a parka with a fur-lined hood, silver fireproof pants, steampunk jumpboots, winged steampunk jetpack and carrying a futuristic sidearm, like an atompunk raygun that looks anachronistic. In the background we see THE CONVEYANCE, which is now more steampunk and 1870, instead pop art and 1970, like it was back on Page Five, the last time we saw it or its owner. Note: Timestamps can be spread across the page.

TIMESTAMP: AERTH.

TIMESTAMP2: CHINA.

TIMESTAMP3: 1870.

TIMESTAMP4: NEARBY.

TIMESTAMP5: TEN MINUTES AGO.

SIBLEY ODENWALD: NO-ONE SEES THE DOCTOR WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT!

Panel 2: Two-shot of INSPECTOR YI and AGENT LEE over her shoulder.

INSPECTOR YI: HE'LL DEFINITELY WANT TO SEE US.

AGENT LEE: I'VE GOT TO SEE HIM. I THINK THEY'VE FOUND HIM.

Panel 3: SIBLEY ODENWALD does a flip (leap?) off the balcony...

Panel 4: ...landing of course in a low crouch, wielding her walking stick like a baton twirler. It's obvious she is skilled in savate, canne de combat, baton twirling, bartitsu or some other 19th Century form of European stick fighting. She's incredibly fit, lithe, agile, graceful, fearless, capable and confident, as well as stunningly beautiful. INSPECTOR YI and AGENT LEE drop into defensive postures.
